Camp Director - Kara Hallett
Kara Hallett - Camp Director at 4-H Camp Owahta!
Kara grew up in Warren Center, Pennsylvania. As a kid, she went to summer camps El Rancho de Paz (now Mapleridge Ranch) and Montrose Bible Conference. One of her favorite memories from camp was playing four square in the gym, along with her two older sisters. During her first year at camp, she wore herself out so much that she fell asleep right on the gym floor!
Kara has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology Education and is currently working full time as a seventh grade Life Science teacher at McGraw High School. Kara worked her first summer at camp as our Waterfront Director in 2021 and 2022 she stepped into the role as Camp Director! She is looking forward to reuniting with the camp community and working with the existing leadership team to make camp a blast this summer!
