CCE invites 4th graders on June 4 & 5th to the Cortland Fairgrounds Agriculture event.
4-H Grade Schools will visit - CCE AgStravaganza 2025

CCE Cortland is pleased to announce that our annual Ag-Stravaganza field trip at the Cortland County Fairgrounds; 4301 Fairgrounds Drive, Cortland, New York. Ag-Stravaganza focuses with the 4th Grade students from local schools Wednesday and Thursday, June 4th and 5th to gain an understanding and appreciation for the impact agriculture has on our daily lives by rotating through interactive stations led by professionals, farmers, and CCE volunteers who are well-versed in their applicable agricultural fields.
We also cannot forget the opportunity to meet some of the animals who provide us our favorite products!
The schedule for the day begins with our first station at 9:30am, and ends with departure at 1:30pm. We hope that this schedule will accommodate all schools; please let us know if there is a problem with this proposed time. We will send out the final teacher information packets closer to the event. These packets will contain the day’s schedule, fairground’s map, and station descriptions. There is no cost to attend, but students and staff are responsible for their own lunches.
We kindly ask that you RSVP to confirm your school’s participation by providing your school’s name, teacher(s) name(s), and how many students will be attending by Friday, May 16th.
