First held in 1996, creating a celebration of the prolific bounties of The Harvest Season.
To be held in historic Courthouse Park in Cortland, New York.
The Crown City of Central New York.
Over the course of the weekend, hundreds of festival goers come to enjoy festival food, take hay rides, shop locally-made crafts, and, of course, get the first pumpkins of the season.
Festival-goers enjoy several entertainment stages featuring talented local performers; the Kids’ Zone, featuring games and activities for children of all ages; a craft show showcasing local artists and vendors; antique tractors; hay rides; and festival food celebrating iconic fall flavors.
In addition to the activities being held in Courthouse Park, several other locations in historic Downtown Cortland host activities for the family, including the Cortland Fire Department and local restaurants.
The Great Cortland Pumpkinfest also showcases the Cortland Community.
Volunteers from area high schools, SUNY Cortland, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Cortland County and the community work throughout the weekend to bring the festival to attendees along with the local sponsors providing financial and in-kind support that makes the festival possible.
We Hope To See You There!
